On October 7th, this gang – using thug-like tactics – shut WBAI down!
Effectively stealing the local programming from the listeners – replacing it with a stale, flat, irrelevant feed from their California headquarters…effectively silencing the voices of New York’s oppressed and marginalized communities.
Two days later a majority on the Pacifica National Board voted to overturn those actions – calling for WBAI to be returned to local contro. But John Vernile and his gang of rogue directors retained control!
